The manufactures go through an impregnating technique of non-woven polyester textiles on water based polystyrene latexes. Their end use involves immersion in particular solvents suita-ble to reactivate the structure styrene. This procedure allows to obtain formability and adhesion of toe-puff during the construction of the upper. Depending on the sol-vent used are to change softening time and recompactation tissue. Then you can adjust the timing in relation to any production requirement. The solvents used are those of the series POX (for timing working with these solvents see adhesive section).
