Again this year we propose our calendar, now it is expected as a fixed appointment by the most affectionate customers. Looking at business calendars over the last 25 years you can trace the socio-cultural change that has happened and you can discover the typical characters of the footwear production chain, always treated with irony and respect. The theme of the 2017 Calendar is to rethink a historical memory that looks far away: As We were. Each month is dedicated to the reproduction of a scene of local life as it was experienced in the times of our parents or grandparents. So they were represented: Shoe Slippers, Ball Game, Carabinieri, La via Crucis, The Marriage, Dancing, Peasant Life, Ferragosto alla Riva, The Game of Bowls, Passes the Race, The Accompagnation, The Crib. Each scene was made with scale scenarios (dioramas), photographing the various corners of Monte San Giusto and reproducing them in such a way as to recreate atmospheres which today unfortunately have been lost.
