The manufactures go through a particular impregnating technique on pure cotton fa-bric. The final result consists in a cotton fabric coated with synthetics elastomeric latexes. ARIES shows moderate elasticity, excellent thermo-forming properties, a perfect shape retention and guarantees an inalterable and long lasting performance. It is suitable for a wide range of man and woman shoes that require a moderate-stiffness counters. The standard product is supplied with two-side thermo adhesive coating based on Polyurethane hot melt (W) or EVA hot melt (P) as follow: WP is a two-side thermo adhesive coating based on Polyurethane powder (W) on one side and EVA (P) on the other side. The EVA hot melt is a continuous film. It is necessary in order to guarantees the efficiency of vacuum suction by using the high speed automatic machines adopted during shaping process of the counters. For WP version the side “W” has to be turn toward the leather of upper because it melts at slightly lower temperature than side “P”. In this way the side P will receive heat directly from the metal last during the counter bonding process. Sheet Size: 100×136 cm apx.
